Ha, thanks to several of my team mates, I’m mildly addicted to them.
I really do think ‘Nobody’ is a highly repetitive and catchy song! The dance that goes with it too!
Ppl should check them out, just for that dance. Haha.
Oh yea. How can I forget, Utada has released her 2nd English album in Japan last month. Releasing soon in May in the US. I must say, the album is really funky and hippie. I like it much much.
Still, I’m craving for her Japanese releases. Somehow, her lyrics in English sounds very ordinary yet when it comes to Japanese, it feels so much more.
Oh sometimes, I don’t know what I’m typing about. This is much too long an absence.
Oh right, I have to finish Boys Over Flowers now!!

I know I’ve gone long enough when WordPress has changed the design of its dashboard. And I thought the last time they changed it was… not that long ago.
Hmmm, anyways, school has just been piling and I haven’t been in the best of moods to update.
Hirai Ken’s DVD is here, a long time ago! However, I haven’t gotten the chance to watch it. Yea, some Ken-chan fan I am. Uhhurs.
Right now, I’m on a Twilight craze, following the many other millions who are crazy over it as I do. So much so that I’m slightly miserable now, maybe a slight tinge of depression I sense? I dunno, I always get this feeling whenever I get too absorbed. It’s really a very bad habit. I guess I’ll be quite okay if I had finished the whole series ALREADY. But because the publisher of the Twilight books are being a bitch and the booksotres in Singapore are quite incompetent in estimating that the whole island is sold out on Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. It’s really funny actually.

Anyhows, I’ve already resigned to fate and I’m just patiently (impatiently too) waiting for the stocks to arrive, praying it’ll arrive REALLY soon too. =)
While we’re at that, I’m totally hooked to the movie’s OST. To sum it up, soft emo rock. OMG no wonder my misery and depression are esclating! The OST is really really moody, but somehow, I love it too. Cause it really fits into the mood and theme of Twilight. I especially love the soft songs. I love them… I want to chill by the beach on a not so warm, breezy day and just do nothing while listening to them songs. It’s really a nice feeling and something I want to actually do SOON.
Back to real news, I’m sure many have heard, but if you haven’t and you’re still reading, Utada Hikaru is releasing her 2nd English album in MARCH 2009! That’s less than three months away!
OMG OMG OMG I’M SO EXCITED I CAN PEE IN MY PANTS!
Actual dates are 03.24.2009 for the US Release and 03.04 in Japan.
AND!! HER UPCOMING ENGLISH SINGLE!

Mika’s latest album, VOICE arrived last week!!
So far, it has been a pleasant listen! I loved and liked every single that she has released, together with their B-sides, especially for ‘FOCUS’! All right, maybe I didn’t like her works for MICA 3 CHU. Erm, it’s a little too ‘RAWR’ for my liking!
The new songs on the album are light and laid-back to listen to.
The title track, kinda, ‘Trust Your Voice’ is really groovy and inspiring. I guess her voice is really something she has been counting on for her entire career. (Of course not forgetting looks. Thank God she’s blessed.) I’ve been reading on forums and whereas that her voice has been deteriorating and stuff. Oh wells, so long she keeps singing awesome ballads and cut down on her smoking, I think Mika still has a pretty long way to go! She’s only 25 goodness!!!
Somehow, I wished that she could do more songs with beats like ‘FOCUS’. I really liked it a lot, a lot!
Overall, this album has been great, no doubt. Minus the angry rock and plus the synthetic pop tunes! =)
I want my Hirai Ken DVD nows.

Did I mention I was on a Speed craze last month?
Thanks to this drama called, ‘Itazura na Kiss’!! ‘STEADY’ was the theme song to the really old school drama! It kinda rekindled the days back then when Speed was the most awesome girl band… EVER! |
Anyhows, they disbanded some time in 2001, reunited again, disbanded again, reunited again, disbanded again… and this year, they decided to reform permanently!
Yay!
Have you heard their new material, ‘Ashita no Sora’? I haven’t heard it but… I did see their latest performance of ‘White Love’… which I might say was totally wicked.
Vocals improved TREMENDOUSLY and it was really a difference performance than they had from the multiple times when they had performed this song.
I mean, they’ve grown so much now and every single detail is different. The dance might look the same but it is different. The tone, the pitch, the expressions… It was really lovely to watch it!
You should too. =)
I’m waiting for Music Station to be done.
